Inflation in Albania stays firm above the Central Bank target

Bank of Albania increases its interest rates amid inflation worries

The central Bank of Albania increased its main interest rates by 0.25 per cent to 5.25 on Wednesday citing growing inflation pressures. This is the first move of the interest rates since December 2009.
