India Approves Tax Deal With Albania

durresportTirana, Jan. 28, 2008 (AE) –  India’s government approved on Thursday an agreement for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and on capital (DTAA) between India and Albania.

Accordingly, an agreement will be signed in due course and came enter into force after completion of internal procedures as required by the respective laws of both the countries.

The agreement aims to promote economic cooperation between the two countries.  It will stimulate the flow of capital, technology and personnel between the two countries.  It will also contribute to the tax stability and facilitate mutual cooperation.
