Eagle Mobile Eyes 60,000 New Customers

mobile2Tirana, Jan. 27, 2008 (AE) – Albania’s third mobile operator, Eagle Mobile, won a bid to offer its mobile services for the employees of public administration, thus earning as much as 60,000 new customers, the company announced.

“The bid was carried out on 12 January 2009 where Eagle Mobile proposed the best and the most economic offer for the public administration institutions. The Ministry of Works, Transport and Telecommunication upon a decision as of date January 20, 2009, chose Eagle Mobile as the service provider for the employees of 8 state institutions on ministerial rank”, Eagle said in a press release.

“The job of Eagle Mobile these months has shown the power and solemnity of this company. We would like to thank the institutions that trusted us and chose to be part of our family. Also we thank the citizens in every corner of the country who wait in lines to receive our numbers and services” Eagle Mobile CEO Mr. Ali Taskin said in a declaration for media.

He added that the employees of public administration may decide to get up to two other numbers for their relatives.

Eagle Mobile currently has about 300,000  subscribers in a country with 2.6m customers.
