Vodafone Albania Launches Mini Call Service

cellphoneVodafone Albania launched for the New Year festivities period in Albania its mini call service.

Through this service subscribers have the possibility to create a voice message and send it directly to the recipient.

The new service was launched in accordance with Vodafone strategy and  aims to provide a bunch of complementary extensive services to its customers.

“This service will be of advantage for both prepaid and postpaid customers, within Vodafone network,” the company said in a statement.

“Vodafone’s philosophy approach and commitments towards its customers is based on the concept that this new service will allow customers to send their messages not just in letters but as emotions expressed with their voice to all of their friend’s, family and lovers,” the statement added.

Vodafone, the world’s largest mobile telecommunications operator launched its GSM services in Albania on August 3, 2001 in what is likely to be one of the world’s fastest GSM network rollouts, capitalizing on its partners’ expertise and experience in operating networks around the world.

Vodafone Albania is owned at 50 per cent by Vodafone International Holdings B.V. and at 50 per cent by Vodafone Panafon International Holdings B.V.

Vodafone Albania’s GSM mobile network covers 84.5 per cnet of the territory of the Republic of Albania and reaches up to 92 per cent of the Albanian population in urban and rural areas.

The company provides to more than 1, 127,253 customers in Albania (as per end of April 2008 ) with a wide range of high quality communication services, including voice and data communications.
