Albania, resident diplomatic mission in India

Tirana, Dec. 16, 2008 (AENews) – Albania opened on Tuesday its first resident diplomatic mission in New Delhi, India, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Lulzim Basha was present in the inaugural ceremony.

Trade volume between India and Albania increased sharply during 2007 reaching USD 17.74 million. India exported to Albania Food and Drinks, chemicals and machinery & equipments. Albania exported to India copper ores and concentrates for USD 8.3 million.
