Tirana, 15 March 2008 – AENews – 16.34 – Minister of Interior Mr. Bujar Nishani declared at 16.30 that no dead are confirmed till now.

Speaking near the explosion area, Mr. Nishani said that after searching all the houses in the affected area, police forces found injured peoples from the village but no deaths were reported. Police have not yet reached the explosion center. “We expect to find victims inside the tunnel”, Nishani said.

It is reported that at least 60 people were close to the explosion spot. Some of them managed to escape from the second and major explosion.
