Tirana, 15 March 2008 – AENews – 17.00 – Police and military forces announced that all inhabitants in the surrounding area affected by the explosions have been evacuated. Minor explosions continue. Authorities say that is still not possible to go very near the explosion spot due to continuing explosions and also due to the rubble that has blocked the path to the explosion spot.

There are reports that there may still be some survivors whom might have stayed inside the tunnels, but that may be hard to reach due to the rubble that has closed the entrances to the tunnels.

These tunnels were build by the army during the cold war and may go for hundred of meters inside the hills.
