Albanian parliament to approve state budget 2007

Tirana, Nov. 28, 2006 (AENews) – Albanian Parliament is to aprove the state budged for fiscal year 2007, which begins in January 1. The draft-budget foresees revenues to amount to Lek 253 BN (USD 2.57 billion, Eur 2.06 BN), from which fiscal revenues are expected to reach LEK 230 BN. (USD 2.235 BN, Eur 1.87 BN).
Expenditures are projected to be Lek 300.3 BN (USD 3.06 BN, Eur 2.44 BN). While, revenues are estimated will be at 25.8% of GDP, and expenditures at 30.6% of GDP.

Capital expenditures are projected to reach Lek 69.7 BN (USD 711 million, EUR 566 million) or 7.1% of GDP.

State deficit is projected to be Lek 46.8 BN at 4.8% of GDP.
