BoA concerned over dirty money used in real estate
Tirana, April 11 (AENews) – Real Estate market in Albania is reported to be in good health, but Central Bank of Albania (BoA) said that the construction industry, which makes up about 10% of the national GDP, faces the risk of loosing customers.
Mak Albania buys biggest hotel in Saranda
Tirana, April 7 (AENews) – Mak Albania, the Albanian subsidiary of Kharafi Group of Kuwait, is reported to have bought for EUR12 million the only five star hotel in Albania, Hotel Butrinti, in the city of Saranda south of Albania.

Bankers Petroleum announced approval of development plan for Patos Marinza Oilfield
Tirana, April 3 (AENews) – At the end of March Bankers Petroleum Ltd. announced approval of its Patos Marinza Oilfield Plan of Development. The announcement was made during a press conference in Tirana together with Albpetrol Sh.A ("Albpetrol"), National Petroleum Agency of Albania, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Energy of Albania.
