Albtelecom announced FY 2005 preliminary results
Uncategorized Thursday, February 16th, 2006Tirana, Feb. 15 (AENews) – The Albanian fixed line telephony Albtelecom announced that during 2005 revenues had grown by 3.7%, reaching LEK 13.3 billion (USD 128 million, EUR 108.4 million).
Meanwhile, expenses were estimated at LEK 11.2 billion (USD 107.8 million, EUR 91.14 million), or 4.1% compared to 2005.
Profit before taxes reached LEK 2.1 billion (USD 20.4 million, EUR 17.3 million). The company declared that for 2006 it planed to increase revenue by 4%, meanwhile profit before taxes at about 15% by reducing at the same time operative costs, according to the announcement.
