Gallup and Mjaft help conduct Albania’s first election polls
Uncategorized Friday, April 29th, 2005TIRANA, April 29 (AENews) – In an effort to curb accusations of voters’ fraud by those who loose in the elections, Gallop International and Mjaft (Enough) Movement are cooperating to conduct surveys for the first time, ahead of this summer’s parliamentary election.
They plan to release surveys of 1,400 respondents in May and June.
The move is both expected to help parties better gauge their levels of support and to curb accusations of fraud by those who lose.

In the five times that Albanians have voted in these last 15 years, only the elections of 1992 have not been contested by all sides.
